Q: What is the course format?
A: Asynchronous. eCornell courses are 100% online. Most of the courses are two weeks long, however, there are some 3 week long courses. Within that time, you can work at your own pace, moving through the material and completing assignments as your schedule allows. There is no specific time you will be required to be on-line. The total time you will need to complete a course will vary. You can expect to spend ~5 hours a week working on your course.

Q: What is the workload like?
A: The workload will vary from course to course but based on survey results, you will need approximately 8-10 hours total to complete a two-week course. The courses consist of several different elements including, but not limited to, pre-recorded videos, case studies, and tools to help you apply the concepts to your work. Course assignments could include discussion participation, quizzes and course projects.
